Actress Shalima Mkongi has joined the cast of Mzansi Magic drama Isithembiso. Shalima will play the role of Nthabiseng.
Nthabiseng is a university student who has come to disrupt Zamani’s life.
“It’s different from what I have played before in terms of characters and I love that I get to work with a lot of great actors in the cast.” Shalima Mkongi says.
Speaking to People Magazine, Shalima Mkongi who is extremely excited to be joining a BOMB Production, said; “I really want to go far with this. I’m so excited to learn from the BOMB family; they’ve been doing this a very long time and they really grow their artists.”
Fans can expect to see Shalima starring as Nthabiseng at the end of April.
Speaking of leaving Nkulueko, the actress took to Instagram where she shared “For me, our job as artists is to serve the story, serve the director, and serve the fellow actors. And if you do that, by osmosis you’re serving yourself because you’ll get the best out of yourself -David Oyelowo”

Shalima played the role of a young troubled woman by the name of Portia who had children with a married man who has now lost the relationship and financial support.
