If you like your film fare supersized, head to IMAX for the immersive experience of superhero Shazam! which releases to 2D, 3D and IMAX on 5 April. Later in the month you can catch the much-anticipated Avengers: Endgame, releasing on 26 April to 2D, 3D, IX and D-BOX (where motion adds a new dimension to your film experience).
But if superheroes aren’t your cup of tea, don’t despair – there’s something for everyone, from riotous comedy and feel-good family fare to suspense, horror and mystery. So, pick your flavour and book now.
Shazam!
We all have a superhero inside us, it just takes a bit of magic to bring it out. In Billy Batson’s case, by shouting out one word – SHAZAM! – this streetwise 14-year-old foster kid can turn into the adult superhero Shazam. Releasing 5 April to 2D, 3D and IMAX theatres.
Galveston
Roy, a hard-drinking mob hit man (Ben Foster) is double-crossed by his boss. After he kills his would-be assassins, Roy discovers Rocky (Elle Fanning), a young woman being held captive. He returns to Galveston with Rocky to try and find sanctuary, but escaping the demons from their pasts is not going to be easy. Galveston has been a hit with US critics, and releases to 2D nationwide on 5 April.
Hellboy
Based on the graphic novels by Mike Mignola, Hellboy, caught between the worlds of the supernatural and human, battles an ancient sorceress bent on revenge. Hellboy releases on 12 April to 2D and IMAX theatres.

Tessa Young is a dedicated student and loyal girlfriend, but when she falls for the brooding Hardin Scott, who hides a dark secret, the two embark on a rocky relationship which redefines who she is. Based on the novel by Anna Todd, After releases on 12 April.
Breakthrough
When he was 14, John Smith spent 15 minutes underwater in a frozen lake. According to reports at the time, CPR was performed for 27 minutes to no avail. When his mother, Joyce Smith, prayed over his body, he was amazingly returned to life. Based on a true story, Breakthrough comes out on 12 April.
A Dog’s Way Home
Bella has always done everything with her owner, Lucas. When events lead to them being separated, she travels 400 miles and faces a series of adventures in search of him. Based on the best-selling novel, A Dog’s Way Home releases on 12 April.
Little
Jordan Sanders torments everyone around her, including her long-suffering assistant April. After bullying a little girl, Jordan finds herself magically transformed into a 13-year-old version of herself, turning her personal and professional life upside-down. The only person who knows her secret is April, who tries to help, with hilarious consequences. Little comes to the big screen on 18 April.
Pet Sematary
Louis Creed, his wife Rachel and their two children Gage and Ellie move to a rural home where they are welcomed and enlightened about the eerie Pet Sematary located near their home. After the tragedy of their cat being killed by a truck, Louis resorts to burying it in the mysterious pet cemetery, which is definitely not as it seems, as it proves to the Creeds that sometimes, dead is better. Stephen King’s classic horror releases on 18 April.
Avengers: Endgame
After the devastating events of Avengers: Infinity War (2018), the universe is in ruins. With the help of remaining allies, the Avengers assemble once more in order to undo Thanos’s actions and restore order to the universe. Releasing 26 April to 2D, 3D, D-BOX and IMAX.
