Amanda, whose real name is Amanda Benedicta Antony, took Mzansi by storm after she received a recognition in 2016 following the release of her hit single “Amazulu”, which was nominated for several music awards.

Amanda Black started her singing career at a very young age. Her singing talent was first explored at church where she used to attend. That time she was only six years old. At the age of 12, she started performing publicly and entering singing competitions.
She also took part in the South African Idols but became fans’ favourite at the Season 11 of the talent show in which she made it to the top 7. Amanda moved to Johannesburg in January 2016 to pursue her musical aspirations, the rest is history.
