Amazebra and Siphokazi book their places in the SA Got Talent Grand Finale

The first semi-final of SA Got Talent 2017, broadcast last night on e.tv, produced some of the most jaw-dropping and eye-popping performances of the season – and there are more to come!

Amazebra SAGT

Amazebra astounded the audience with their modern twist on traditional dancing.

The public made their voices heard in the viewer vote, sending traditional Zulu dance group, Amazebra, straight through to the Grand Finale. Dancer Jonty Stander and opera singer Siphokazi, who gained second and third most viewer votes respectively, had their fate decided by the judges to make a decision on who to send through to the finale. All judges had their say and sent a jubilant Siphokazi through to the live grand finale, which will be broadcast from the Soweto Theatre on 12 November at 6pm.

Siphokazi SAGT
Siphokazi’s operatic vocals left an epic impression on the audience and judges.
