Idols SA has announced that Beyoncé’s father and record producer Dr Mathew Knowles, who is currently in the country will guest judge this week’s episode of top 6 finalists of South African Idols.

This Sunday’s theme is ‘Wooden Mic’. Contestants will take on the challenge of performing songs that were butchered in the audition rounds by hopeful, but untalented entrants. Each of the top six will perform two songs.
“We’ve just confirmed him for Sunday and we are excited to have him on the show and can’t wait to have him as a guest on the show. We hope all the show’s viewers will enjoy having him there, as we will also,” Mzansi Magic’s publicity manager Bongiwe Potelwa-Metsing said.
She added: “We are very happy to have him in our show, so he can see the talent that we have here in Mzansi. It’s going to be a historic episode of Idols.”
Dr. Mathew Knowles is a self-made entrepreneur from the small town of Gadsden in Alabama. His unique skills made him the top salesperson at Xerox Medical Systems early on in his professional career.

He’d go on to not only become one of the world’s top entertainment managers but also the founder, C.E.O and president of Music World Entertainment, a conglomerate boasting over 450 million global record sales. He also holds an MBA in Strategic Planning and Organizational Culture and a Ph.D. in Business Administration from Cornerstone Christian Bible College.
