How to Login to SMU Blackboard Platform? Please note that you can visit and access the SMU Blackboard Login Portal using a mobile device or computer by following the below steps. The following is a guide on how to access the SMU Blackboard System.
- Step 1: Open your internet browser e.g. Internet Explorer, Chrome or Firefox
- Step 2: On the address bar type ithute.smu.ac.za (SMU Blackboard Portal)
- Step 3: Enter your username and password and click “Login”
- Step 4: Once logged in, scroll down the page to ‘Course Categories’
- Step 5: Select your “School”
- Step 6: Select your course or check for your course in your department.
- Step 7: You will then see the content for your course.
Remember, your login credentials are provided to you by the E-learning Unit.
