Bonang Matheba’s House of BNG goes international with BBC World News interview

Local media personality Bonang Matheba, who launched her own MCC last year March, is without a doubt one of the most successful celebrities in South Africa.

Last week on her Instagram page, Bonang Matheba shared the exciting news that she be featured in an interview on international news and current affairs channel BBC World News.

“My baby is on BBC World News tomorrow,” Bonang wrote. Matheba went on to say: “I make an amazing sparkling wine… have you tasted it?”



Her MCC brand, The House of BNG, was launched at a lavish event in Johannesburg last year. Speaking in the segment which aired on BBC World News, Bonang talks about how South African black women are large consumers of both champagnes and MCCs.

Matheba also talked about other business ventures she has done, including her lingerie line with Woolworths.

“BBC WORLD NEWS!! We praise God!🙏🏽❤️ @houseofbng The 1st & only woman in South Africa to have her own brand of MCC! (Mèthode Cap Classique) (sic)” – Bonang posted a screening of the segment captioning on her Instagram page.
