Local media personality and businesswoman Bonang Matheba has launched her own range of Methode Cap Classique (MCC) called House of BNG on Monday. The launch of her luxury alcohol was unveiled at a glamorous event in Johannesburg.
Bonang Matheba’s launch event was attended by her close industry friends including Somizi Mhlongo, Tshepi Vundla, Maps Maponyane, Tebogo Pinky Girl and many more.
Speaking to the media about ‘House of Bonang’, Queen B said: “Being a Queen Bee means having everything a girl needs, including fabulous style and personality to match. Introducing my latest little guilty pleasure – BNG – a true indulgence for yours truly, with an elegant and refreshing taste profile. Be a part of the latest taste trend and enjoy this traditional Méthode Cap Classique – perfect on its own or with any celebration.”

According to ewn, Matheba further explained that: “The House of BNG has been a passion project of mine for a long time. It’s no secret that champagne is my favourite drink, so getting the chance to make my own MCC was an opportunity I couldn’t miss out on,” Matheba said.
Queen explained why she didn’t go with classic champagne. She said South Africa has the world’s best grapes, so she decided to make a Méthode Cap Classique wine, which is made in exactly the same way as champagne but using Cape grapes.
The House of BNG Brut and Brut Rosé will initially be available exclusively at select Woolworths stores nationwide and on Woolworths online, after which it will also be released in other retail stores.
Both bottles of House of BNG Brut and Brut Rose (750ML) retails at R399.99 each and are developed by Cape wine master, Jeff Grier and Bonang Matheba.
