27-year-old Calvin Mayer (real name Emmanuel Kelvin Onome) released the single ‘I Do It for You’ in 2019 that tells a story a young man that does everything for the woman he loves.

This is what put Calvin on the spotlight after being played on etv’s Rhythm City. The single introduces us to Calvin’s music style which classifies as sultry pop with influential RnB sound. The artist has been able to consistently bring a fuse a classiness through all his jams that include with tracks such as ‘Twisted’, that’s become a caller tune for MTN, as well as, ‘Boomerang’ that’s been on rotation on several radio stations. Currently, the Nigerian born multi-versed artist is working on the release of his EP which will launch in February 2020 and will be titled ‘Son of Adeline’ which will be a tribute to his late mother.
Calvin Mayer has successfully built his brand on his talent that was first evident when he wrote the song ‘Famous’, that’s been a hit since 2019 after being aired on Trace TV and MTV in 2018. Calvin regards himself as a family man. As a father of a year-old daughter, he plans to make break boundaries, making him the best version of himself through music.
