Neither Shell or Clicks provided reasons for this, however, when asked by a Twitter user, Clicks simply responded to a tweet by saying: “Hi Nomsa thanks for getting in touch with us. Kindly be advised that we review our partnerships from time to time. Please continue to earn Shell points on fuel until Saturday 30 November 2019.”

Clicks and Shell announced their partnership back in 2016. When customers fill up at a participating Shell garage, they would get rewarded with Clicks ClubCard points. For every one litre of fuel or diesel that you put in, you earn one point.

The more litres you buy, the more points you earn, the greater your cashback.

The cashback that you earn can then be used at any GNC, Clicks or Claire’s stores nationwide. The cashback is loaded onto your Clicks ClubCard six times a year and is valid of one year.

Clicks Club card holders would still earn points up until 30 November 2019 if they swipe their cards along with their fuel purchases.
