Date My Family bachelor Moremogolo Mmuoe graduates

Moremogolo Mmuoe, who went to Date My Family in search of love, graduated with another qualification from the University of Limpopo last week Wednesday.

Moremogolo set social media buzz with his controversial statements Date My Family. One of his remarkable statements was “Monna ke selepe , boshego rea a adimishana,” a Sepedi Idiom loosely translated “A man is an axe, he gets passed around to other women at night”.

According to Daily Sun, the 24-year-old bachelor from Moletjie Ga-Manamela in Limpopo said it was the second time he had graduated at the University of Limpopo.

In 2015 he graduated with a BA in performing arts. On Wednesday last week he received a postgraduate diploma in Information Studies.

Moremogolo said: “I am taking a break this year and intend to enrol for a master’s degree next year.

“I always encourage young people to go to school and invest their time in reading. They don’t have to read educational books. Magazines and short stories also have a lot of interesting information. Reading such material can improve their vocabulary,” he said.

Moremogolo said he received a lot of criticism for what he said on Date My Family.

“People said I disappointed them but I didn’t take it personally. I don’t know why people are criticising me because I can’t pretend to be something I’m not. I’m the one looking for a girlfriend, not them. I can’t entertain what they said.”

Moremogolo Mmuoe, a presenter on a campus station Radio Turf, said he knew he would either receive a yes or no when he went to the show.

“I wasn’t hurt when I got a no. I believe she made her decision based on what she saw. I’ve accepted that and moved on with my life,” he said.

He said he would start looking for a girlfriend on his own and he’s hoping to find a perfect match soon.
