“Working with Rema and Rayvanny was so interesting. We never got to record in person, but I thought the BEAT just encapsulated Rema. I allowed him to pick the beat actually and he loved the concept of Jollof On The Jet. After Rema did his thing, Rayvanny added that extra Bongo spice and I think three of us have created a delicious masterpiece,” expresses Cuppy.
Jollof On The Jet is a prequel to her upcoming debut album titled Original Copy. This project has been teased by Cuppy in the past months on her social media platforms. She got her fans involved in the album process when she asked that they choose a name for the then yet to be named album. After over 2,000 votes, Original Copy was picked.
