The beef between Dr Malinga and Nasty C is over. The two artists took to Instagram to share a picture of them at last month’s GO WEST! Music Festival.
In an interview with TshisaLIVE, Dr Malinga said the feud was a “misunderstanding”. “It was a misunderstanding. I was giving my views and he was giving his. People will always misinterpret things so we spoke about it and we laughed. It wasn’t awkward at all, he didn’t duck and dive.”
The picture shows Malinga holding a bowl with the word “beef” on it and Nasty C captioned the pic “We never had any”.

Back in March, Nasty C and Dr Malinga caused a social media frenzy after they threw insults at each other on Twitter. It all started when Dr Malinga called Nasty C a “pawn shop” insinuating that the rapper’s label, Mabala Noise, had bought Nasty C’s awards. The rapper then retaliated by recording a video where he called the Via Orlando hit-maker a “103-year old f*** gimmick”, The feud continued when Malinga sent a string of tweets replying to the rapper’s video.
