Durban Kwaito star Mampintsha announces his retirement from music

Former Big Nuz member Mampintsha has announced that he will be retiring from the music industry after releasing his up coming singles.

Mampintsha, whose real name is Mandla Maphumulo made the announcement on social media. The Durban Kwaito star can be seen in a video saying: “I’ve been thinking you know looking at the situation and the time I have been in this game and all the hits I’ve given you guys. I can see that people aren’t happy, I don’t even mean the fans, I mean people I was supposedly close with and such people. It’s not pleasant here anymore.”

Mampintsha also told his fans that he decided to focus on his last two singles, Phakamisa and a bonus track. He also promised his fans he would get everything off his chest on these two songs before before quitting music.

He said most of the songs you hear were sampled from him. He would like to thank his fans, he loves them and thanks them for their support.

“I will be leaving you in the hands of queen Babes Wodumo and I know she’ll do right by you. I love you guys very much and I’ll be watching and guarding y’all so if you ever need me to come back, just in case you are bored, just call me and tell me what you need me to do and I’ll listen,” – he concluded.
