Bongile Mantsai aka Mthunzi Mayiza biography – Bongile Mantsai is a South African actor and dancer best known for his current role as Mthunzi Mayiza on etv’s Scandal!

He is also known for his first starring role as Poncho in the Mzansi Magic drama series Nkululeko and as Vija in the movie Inxeba: The Wound.
Bongile was born in Cape Town, Stellenbosch and grew up in a small township of Kayamandi. He is a pastor’s kid and has a musical background which is influenced by the church.
His first introduction to the arts was through music. He used to compose music for the choir. From there he went to the University of Stellenbosch and that’s how he got into theatre.
