Off the back of a recent Johannesburg, South Africa trip, Los Angeles based Hollywood Powerhouse, Koshie Mills, features on the cover of Moziak Magazine, a culture publication founded on telling authentic African stories one piece at a time.

The official Ghanaian Ambassador for Film, Arts and Culture, who is best known as a Hollywood Executive Producer, Media Maven, Power Broker and Power Momager (Kwame Boateng – Every Body Hates Chris, The Plug; Kofi Siriboe – Girls Trip, Queen Sugar; and Kwesi Boakye – Colony, Claws); Koshie Mills shares her journey from mom to momager, CEO of K3PR Marketing Agency and becoming the powerhouse that’s pulling Africans together globally through her platform and talk series, The Diaspora Dialogues.

As the Executive Producer and host of the talk series, The Diaspora Dialogues will entertain, inspire and bridge the gap between Africans in the continent and Africans in the diaspora. Koshie Mills introduced the talk series in South Africa via #KonversationsWithKoshie, an intimate style dinner that connected people across various industries to discuss how as a collective we can move Africa forward #TogetherWeAreEverything.
The cover of Moziak Magazine was photographed downtown Johannesburg by celebrity and commercial photographer, Xavier Saer, amongst African people going about their everyday lives connecting with one another. Koshie Mills is advancing the conversation of how Africans and Africans in the diaspora are divided by preconceptions about each other that need healing.
“There are negative things about ourselves that have been taught to us through various forms of media, imagery or conversations. This has affected how we perceive each other and relate to each other. My goal is to start the dialogue to peel back the layers and find out why we can’t unify and connect. In order to build a relationship, we have to have conversations to bridge the gap and heal our trust. I want our young generation to come back to the motherland, understand the various cultures and re-water the soil that our ancestors left us as an inheritance,” shares Koshie Mills.
Awarded an “African Excellence Award” at the Afro Ball in Los Angeles in recognition of her outstanding contributions and exceptional commitment towards amplifying Africa in the entertainment industry is just testament to the work that Koshie Mills is doing to the greater advancement of Africa and Africans.
