  1. Visit srd.dsd.gov.za
  2. Click on the green bar which says ‘click here to lodge an appeal or check appeal status
  3. Enter your South African ID number
  4. Enter your phone number used to submit your application
  5. Click ‘send pin’
  6. Click ‘Submit’ and look out for the confirmation message on the page that your application was submitted successfully

About New R350 Grant Appeals

The official link for SRD R350 grant appeals is https://srd.dsd.gov.za/appeals/. There’s a couple of things you need to know before you lodge an appeal. All Covid-19 SRD applicants, they may, within a period of 30 days but not exceeding 90 days, appeal SASSA’s decision to the Independent Tribunal for Social Assistance Appeals (ITSAA). You must double check that the information you provided to SASSA SRD – https://srd.sassa.gov.za/, which is reflected on the SRD DSD Appeal Electronic Platform is complete and correct.
