The death of SA actress Shoki Mokgapa has shocked many South Africans and the South African film and television industry. Actor Thabo Rametsi is struggling to accept.

According to a statement released by her management agency MLA (Moonyeenn Lee Associates), Shoki Mokgapa committed suicide on Tuesday after a long battle with clinical depression.
South African actor and a friend Thabo Rametsi, who is best known for playing the lead role of Solomon Mahlangu in the 2016 feature film Kalushi, has expressed how difficult it has been for him to accept Shoki’s passing.
Taking to Instagram, Thabo Rametsi wrote: “I am struggling to accept this. How can it be? Rest In Power sweet Shoki Mokgapa . You were a good person. A talent they should have appreciated more. You were truly special. I will always remember you.”
