Idols SA winner Yanga Sobetwa drops an album

Idols SA season 14 winner Yanga Sobetwa has released her debut album titled “Promised Land” which features popular South African musicians such as Nathi Mnkayi and Amazulu songstress Amanda Black.

The 18-year-old from Delft in Cape Town, South Africa, was the youngest competitor in the Idols SA season 14 competition. In the season finale of South African Idols, Yanga Sobetwa, faced off against Thato Makape which saw her take the Idols crown. She won R1 million in prize money and a coveted record deal.

It is without that her album “Promised Land” will also perform well on the charts. Her single Scars (All Over Me) was well received by fans in the same week it was released.

Taking to social media to announce the release of her album, The singer said the album pre-order is available. The album was released last week Friday, 10th May 2019.

“Good morning everyone, this is one of the morning i guess everyone has been waiting for, guys the Album pre-order is available please make sure you don’t miss pre-order, i really hope you are, touched, blessed and transformed in one way or another through this Album.

It’ll be out on the 10th of May. So #TeamYangaSobetwa yiu know what to do, let’s campaign like we’ve campaigned, remember when when i was in the top 2 the way you campaigned for me to win, lets restore that fire and lets goooo!! (sic),” – she wrote on her Instagram official account.
