Shria’s job remains on the line, and she accuses Maharaj of destroying her career and only caring about himself. Sifiso wants to get to know Khanyo better, but she feels she’s not deserving of his attention or his love.

Shria wants Maharaj to stop calling her his daughter. Nirupa tells Maharaj he needs to find another place to stay. A stranger enters the house and shoots Maharaj. Will Maharaj make it? Who is trying to kill Maharaj?

After Sebenzile had lied to Phakade about the church money and handed over the stolen money to Nhlakanipho, things get tense when she learns that Khanyo is going to go through the books… Sebenzile devises a plan to sabotage the books.

MaZulu warns Nirupa that she keeps the knife out of her back. MaZulu and Nirupa circle each other, mistrust rife between them. While Sebenzile threatens Nhlakanipho with a gun and tells him to hit the road. At the hospital, Yuveer attempts to murder Maharaj, but he wakes up.

An emotional Yuveer plans to kill Shria and Maharaj. Phakade is livid with Sebenzile “the thief” even though she keeps telling him she was being blackmailed, he doesn’t believe her.

Shria is devastated to find out that Maharaj has left her, but Nirupa encourages her to move on. Zithulele is having a crisis of self and goes to Phakade for help only to discover something special at Zimlele’s gravesite.
Episode 1042 – Tuesday 12 April 2022
Zithulele calls Zakithi to come to Mbumbulu immediately, leaving Nokuzola’s ambitions for her big birthday date dead in the water. MaZulu refuses to hear Buhle’s dream about her father Ngcolosi.
Zithulele leads Phakade and Zakithi towards the graveyard where he has to burn a flame over the ground, hoping to recreate a miracle.

The crisis at Maluju deepens when clients threaten to cancel contracts. Blaming MaZulu, Nkululeko tries to force her to step down as CEO but fails. Makhosazana suggests a meeting with an angel investor as a way for him to be the saviour.
Episode 1044 – Thursday 14 April 2022
KaMadonsela’s disturbing dreams about Ngcolosi intensify and Phakade resolves to discuss their nature with maNdlovu. Maharaj is operated on but Makhosazana has to wait to verify whether his surgery is a success. Buhle is determined to carry out a traditional family ritual despite MaZulu’s continued protests.

The staff at Emsamo learn that they will be searched every day because there has been missing money. The fight between Nkululeko and MaZulu escalates and all the gloves come off.
Episode 1046 – Monday 18 April 2022
After MaZulu pitches a sound proposal for a loan to the new donor before her shareholders, everyone is shocked to learn that the company expects 10 percent ownership of Maluju oil in return. A debate ensues on who should give away their shares.
Episode 1047 – Tuesday 19 April 2022
Nkululeko makes a move to unseat MaZulu as CEO. Maharaj reaches out to Shria, and is hopeful but Shria rejects Maharaj. Zithulele explains to Phakade the enormous economic opportunities presented by the gas reserves. Will Zithulele convince Phakade?

Buhle intends to invite Nkululeko to Ngcolosi’s ceremony, unaware that he’s just tried to unseat her mother. Nokuzola accidentally lets slip to Makhosazana that Shongololo has a new project.

While the family waits for MaZulu, Zithulele and Nkululeko exchange words, and Phakade has to spray a little cold water over their hot heads. Nkululeko adulates his father until MaZulu can no longer bear it. MaNdlovu chastizes MaZulu for ruining Zimele’s ritual.

After being fed up sneaking around, Shria and Jason decide to move their wedding date up. Phakade confronts MaZulu about what she did to Zimele’s grave, how will Phakade punish MaZulu?

Nirupa refuses to be a part of Shria’s wedding if Shria doesn’t do things the right way and has the Roka. Nkululeko reveals some shocking news during a family gathering maNdlovu called for.
Episode 1052 – Tuesday 26 April 2022
Nkululeko and Zithulele nearly come to blows after Nkululeko’s bombshell. Shria explains the Roka ceremony to Jason, and he’s upset she’s only mentioning it now. KaMadonsela sees Nganono senior standing near the chaos and collapses.
Phakade forbids everyone from even thinking about drilling for gas on his land.

Jyothi overhears a conversation between Jason and his mother and gets it into her head that Shria is secretly pregnant. MaNdlovu offers Sibongile a job at the Bhengu house, much to Buhle’s displeasure…

Makhosazana holds that the Bhengu’s haven’t been aggressive enough because Phakade is family. She comes up with a plan to make this happen. What will Makhosazana do? MaZulu makes a huge proposal to Shongololo Oil that shocks Zithulele and Zakithi.
Episode 1055 – Friday 29 April 2022
KaMadonsela realises that Phakade is being swayed by MaZulu, kaMadonsela is threatened by MaZulu’s presence. Shria plays Nirupa’s hopes about her pregnancy and lets herself be pampered. Nirupa is disappointed when she learns the truth.
