KFC Wedding is finally happening on New Year’s Eve and Mzansi is showing love in the Twitter streets after what was intended to be a joke turned into a blessing.
Last month, Hector Mkansi proposed to Nonhlanhla Soldaat at a local KFC branch and his video went viral and instead of hate he received love from South Africa.
Hector was captured on a video that went viral on social media, proposing to his beautiful wife-to-be. The KFC proposal video was shared by a Twitter user Kateka Molobola, and as they say the rest is history.
Celebrities and brands lived up to their promises to sponsor Mr Hector and Nonhlanhla’s wedding. The most anticipated wedding of 2019 is two weeks away and the groom and the bride seem to know what they will be wearing for their big day.
The groom fittings have been done and was designed by a well-known tailor, Tshepo Mashego, who goes by Tshepo Tsala on Twitter, sponsored by the internationally-renowned DJ Black Coffee.
The bride also seems to have made up her mind on which dress to wear for her day, after visiting famous boutique @BrideandCoSA and she said YES.
Even designer and luxury wedding planner, Precious the planner, has met with the couple to discuss catering, décor, cars and entertainment, and by the look of things, everything seem to be in place. Groom and bride fitted and chose their attires, rings have been chosen and bought, make-up appointment set, all ready and waiting for the big day, 31st December.
The big question is, where is the KFC wedding taking place? Msansi and Black Twitter are still waiting for the invite and venue for the wedding.
Taking to social media, Hector and Nonhlanhla, expressed their gratitude for the support and love they received from all South Africans. They also thanked everyone who contributed towards the wedding.

Gospel star Dr Tumi also expressed his excitement at performing at the wedding.
“31st I’ll be at the people’s wedding. Looking forward to minister at the wedding of Mr Hector and his wife Nonhlanhla. What a way to end a beautiful year. (sic),” he tweeted
