Afro-soul singer Lady Zamar whose real name is Yamikani Janet Banda, has announced on social media that she would no longer be performing at Shimza’s One Man Show.

Lady Zamar was one of the local artists booked to perform at the show which will take place on the 25th of December 2019 (Christmas Day). The concert also features her musician ex boyfriend Sjava whose real name is Jabulani Hadebe.
“Good morning Zamartians. For grossly obvious reasons I won’t be attending / performing at the Shimza One Man Show on the 25th of December 2019. I’ve stated all I need to and legal proceedings are still underway and I cannot in anyway be in an environment where I don’t feel safe (sic),” – Lady Zamar tweeted.

She also apologised to her fans and wish them a Merry Christmas in advance.
“I’m really sorry to Zamartians and anyone else who might have wanted to see me perform on this day however I will be in one place or another that you might have the opportunity to. I wish you all a Merry Christmas and a Prosperous New Year in advance.” – She tweeted.
Last month Zamar accused her ex Sjava of being a liar and a cheater who abused her emotionally. She also revealed that he has a wife back home in KwaZulu-Natal.
