Beyoncé’s new album The Lion King: The Gift With JAY-Z, Kendrick Lamar, Blue Ivy Carter, Childish Gambino, Moonchild Sanelly, and Busiswa is officially out. Pharrellm Syd, DJ Khaled, Tierra Whack, 070 Shake, Diplo, and others also appear on the new Beyoncé’s new album.

The American singer, songwriter and actress, Beyoncé Giselle Knowles-Carter, curated and produced the new album The Lion King: The Gift. The new album was inspired by Disney’s new version of Disney’s 1994 animated film. The album, which is now officially available for downloads in all digital platforms, features contributions from a star cast of collaborators, including South Africa’s own Busiswa and Moonchild Sanelly. Beyoncé, who plays Nala in the movie, described the album as a ‘love letter to Africa.’ and features multiple producers and African musicians.

“I wanted to make sure we found the best talent from Africa and not just use some of the sounds and do my interpretation of it. I wanted to be authentic to what is beautiful about the music in Africa,” Beyonce told US breakfast show ‘Good Morning America’.

DJ Khaled is the one who produced “MOOD 4 EVA” which is the collaboration between Jay-Z, Childish Gambino and Beyoncé. Syd is listed as a co-producer on “OTHERSIDE,” and Diplo co-produced “ALREADY.” “NILE,” the collaboration between and Beyoncé and Kendrick Lamar, features production from Sounwave. Listen below.

Jay-Z is also the co-writer on the song titled “BROWN SKIN GIRL” which features Blue Ivy. Queen B, who released lead single titled “SPIRIT” earlier this month ahead of her new LP, also released a music video for the track.

The Lion King remake premiered around the world on Friday, accompanied by Beyoncé’s new album. Beyonce voices an adult Nala, Donald Glover (adult Simba), Seth Rogen (Pumbaa), James Earl Jones (Mufasa), and South Africa’s John Kani (Rafiki).
