Local celebrities, friends, colleagues and fans of the late television personality Akhumzi Jele have remembered him on his 30th birthday. Akhumzi would have been 30 years old today.

Akhumzi Jezile with friends, Thobani Mselani and Siyasanga Kobese, lost their lives when their car was involved in a fatal accident just outside Queenstown in the Eastern Cape on their way to a family funeral in April 2018.
Taking to Instagram to pay the tributes, a close friend of Jezile Nolwazi Ngubeni wrote: “Happy Birthday, my friend. This smile is what I miss most. Thank you for the memories. I love you (sic).”
Dr Musa Mthobeni also paid a moving tribute to his late friend.
“Today would he been your birthday. A whole 30-year-old. A whole father. A man who should be starting a family. You are missed dearly my dear friend. Love you always (sic),” Musa Mthombeni wrote on Instagram.
“Sidihlodobodo sadamidi. Happy 30th birthday! I don’t know who to pray with today. You’re always in my heart. ALWAYS! I’m extremely grateful to have known you. Extremely. Oh madoda igheza lam (sic),” – Zizo Tshwete remembered him on Instagram.
