South African writer, activist, breast cancer survivor and Nelson Mandela’s granddaughter Zoleka Mandela, has welcomed her fifth baby Zenzile Mutoba Bashala.

Zoleka Mandela confirmed the good news on social media on Wednesday night.
Zoleka, who gave birth to a baby girl six days before her due date, said that her water broke when she got up in the morning to pack away the dishes.
“I woke up this morning and got up before everyone else to attend to the house – I was trying to pack last night’s clean dishes when my water broke! I was in labour for close to five hours before Mr. Bashala and I birthed our daughter, Zenzile Mutoba Bashala, six before our scheduled birth date!” – she wrote on Instagram.
She also said that there were a few unexpected complications which resulted in her incubation.
The 38-year-old has been updating her fans on social media on her pregnancy journey as well as her attempts to stay fit.
