The announcement of Lucifer season 6 came one day after the streaming giant confirmed that season 5a will premiereย on on Netflix on Friday, August 21. Last year we reported that there wonโt be Lucifer season 6. However, it seems like producers had performed a U-turn.
Rumours surrounding a possible season 6 had been making rounds on the internet for a while and recently there was guess that negotiations between Warner Bros Television and leading star Tom Ellis ran into complications. However, it looks like a deal was made despite rumours on social media that he was set to be replaced by The Vampire Diaries star Ian Somerhalder.
Lucifer Season 4 is currently streaming on Netflix. The previous three seasons are available to watch on Amazon Prime Video.
