The upcoming Maftown Heights festival spiced up by KFC taking place on Friday, 27 November 2015, at Mary Fitzgerald Square, Newtown, Johannesburg, ran a fan driven competition on Twitter to give “New Kids On The Block (#NKOTB)” a chance to be added to this year’s Maftown Heights’ line-up and perform alongside SA’s and the continent’s biggest acts such as HHP, Khuli Chana, AKA and KO.
From a shortlist of 9 #NKOTB, Maftown Heights is proud to announce the below Top 3 winners to perform at this year’s festival, after 14 049 accurate number of votes were cast over a period of 6 days.
- K2 – 76,3% of the votes
- Jay Makopo – 10.8% of the votes
- Priddy Ugly – 3.4% of the votes
