Meet Revlon’s newest celebrity ambassadors

Revlon has announced four new celebrity brand ambassadors. TV personalities LootLove, Bontle Modiselle, Kim Jayde and actress Michelle Mosalakae were revealed as the faces of the make-up brand.

The four newest celebrities will be joining television personality, radio host and businesswoman Bonang Matheba. Matheba became the company’s first ever SA face in 2013.

Kim, Bontle, LootLove and Michelle took to social media to share the exciting news.

“Today, we finally get to share a movement: that is the first of its kind in Africa! 4 completely different and unique women showing little girls that it’s more than ok to be different – it should be CELEBRATED! Thank you REVLON for choosing us to be your BRIGADE! #LiveBoldlySA (sic),” fashion blogger and MTV presenter Kim Jayde tweeted.

Announcing the news on Touch HD yesterday, Bontle said they are thrilled to follow in the footsteps of women like Bonang Matheba, Halle Berry, Gwen Stefani, Ciara and Emma stone.

“The four of us are officially the new Revlon brand ambassadors. We are in the same conversation with some of the most iconic women in the world, who have stood for strength and for feminine power, so this is who we are, you can officially call us the live boldly brigade…” Bontle added.

LootLove revealed to Zalebs that they knew about the Revlon deal since the beginning of the year but had to be quiet until the big reveal.

“It actually happened quite quickly funny enough, the conversation started at the beginning of January, everybody tried keeping track of everybody else…a couple of weeks ago we signed everything…we had to jump into signing contracts, and doing shoots, just last week we shot our TV commercial so it’s been hectic, it’s been up and down, we’ve kept this secret so low key but we were just like: ‘Oh my gosh, when they find out!” LootLove told the publication.

Michelle says the partnership will help take her a step closer to where she wants her brand to go.

“It’s awesome, this is something I’ve always wanted to do. I didn’t know it would happen this fast. I love cosmetics and I love looking after my skin, and to add this on to my CV is just incredible.I have a lot of plans and I just want them to unfold by just being me and I want to inspire people to just do that,” she added.
