Money Heist, originally known as La Casa de Papel, is returning to Netflix for season 4. Money Heist season 4 is eagerly awaited by fans after season three was released on Friday, July 19, on Netflix.

Here is what we know so far about Money Heist season 4 and when it will be available on Netflix.
As reported by Metro, Netflix has revealed that Money Heist has set a new record for the streaming service after being viewed more than 34.4 million times. Called La Casa de Papel in Spanish, the name was adjusted for English-speaking audiences to Money Heist back before season one launch.
According to Whats On Netflix, this Netflix Original series is set to be released in 2020. The publication further stated that Alex Pina, who created the Spanish heist television series, confirmed last week during a press conference that the fourth season of the crime drama series had already begun filming.
Money Heist series became an success after the streaming platform decided to air it internationally including South Africa. Season one and two initially played on Antenna 3 in Spain before becoming a full Netflix Original for season 3.
When will season 4 of Money Heist release on Netflix?
The good news is that since Netflix has signed a global exclusive overall deal with “La Casa de Papel” creator Alex Pina, we will see more of him. Alex confirmed that the filming and production of season 4 is currently underway. Meaning South Africans can expect to see season 4 added on Netflix South Africa in 2020.
