Writer, mom and home-maker, Mpumi Ranaka, has left Twitter fans in tears after she made a public confession on the show “The Ranakas”.

On Thursday night’s episode of The Ranakas, Mpumi Ranaka told Mzansi Magic viewers that she had been sexually assaulted when she was younger, affecting her marriage.
She revealed that she was raped as a teenager and it had affected her life and the way she saw marriage and the world.
“It hurt me that my child, my daughter, at that age had to be so ravaged by a beast called a man,” Kgotlaesele Ntate Ranaka told viewers.
