MTV Shuga, in partnership with Unitaid and the London School of Health and Tropical Medicines, announced the return of MTV Shuga: Down South to South Africa (along with two brand new seasons in Cote d’Ivoire).
They revealed that they would be opening the industry in South Africa once again with the 2018 MTV Shuga Auditions.
Young South Africans will have the opportunity to audition for a role in the upcoming season of #MTVShugaDS and this time they are taking their search further than ever. Not only will they hold open auditions in two different cities, but they’ll also be giving this year’s hopefuls the chance to audition online throughout the month of August.
The #MTVShugaAudition is open to all South African residents between the ages of 18-25 years. For the first time ever, MTV Shuga Auditions will be taking place in TWO South African cities: Johannesburg and Durban.
Johannesburg – 25 August 2018
The Joburg leg of the auditions will be held at Zone 6 the Venue in Soweto on Saturday the 25th of August.
Durban – 26 August 2018
One day later, they’ll be flying to Dubane for the second leg of the public auditions to be held at the Olive Convention Center in North Beach.
