Music producer Sipho “Psyfo” Ngwenya graduates from University

South African actor and music producer Sipho “Psyfo” Ngwenya, who is best known for his role as Ajax on the SABC1 soap opera Generations, has graduated from the IMM Graduate School with a BCom Marketing Management degree.

Psyfo shared his graduation picture on social media and local celebrities congratulated him.

“One of the proudest days of my life! Had some sacrifices to do but the reward feels so good. Thank you to those who have also walked this journey with me, friends and family! The first in my family to wear this gown and damn sure not the last! (sic),” – he wrote on Instagram.

Who is Sipho “Psyfo” Ngwenya?

Sipho Ngwenya (also known by his stage name Psyfo) is a South African musician and actor. He was born and raised in Kimberley in the Northern Cape. He started his schooling at Zingisa Primary, a Xhosa school in Galeshewe, Kimberley then moved to Cape Town with his two younger brothers, Rodney and Wandile.

Psyfo moved to Johannesburg in 1995 and attended Rivonia Primary School where he finished his primary school career. In high school, He was part of a rap group called The Benjamins with Sean Pages and Morale, but the group later split.

Sipho has own record label, Sid Records. Under this label, he has produced music for Mandoza (Tsotsi Yase Zola and I’m Sorry), Lebo Mathosa (Dance Tonight), MXO, Jamali, Lulo Café (Keep the Level Low ft Marichan and I Wanna Love You ft Nothende), Mzekezeke (Ubani uMzekezeke), Izinyoka (Njengendoda), DJ Switch (Pickabox ft 985) and DJ Franky (Tonight ft Nandi).
