Multi-talented creative musical genius, Big Star, has just released his second single over two consecutive weeks off his upcoming album Me&Mines titled Closer.

Big Star’s Closer debuted yesterday as a 5FM exclusive playing on every show throughout the day, and will be supported by the following radio stations today just to name a few: YFM, Heart FM, Massiv Metro, UJ FM, TransAfrica Radio, Tshwane FM, EKFM, Bush Radio, Paragon FM and Yarona FM in Botswana just to name a few.

Following the release of Big Star’s Time Of My Life single which he dropped last Friday, Closer is Big Star’s first radio single release to spearhead the journey to the release of his highly anticipated debut album.

Big Star co-produced Closer with Tazzy, whose production work includes the likes of AKA’s Sweet Fire, Caiphus Song and One Time.

Speaking to Metro FM’s Mo Flava and Masechaba Ndlovu on The Drive, the rapper admitted that a lot of mistakes were made at CashTime which led to the label’s dying.

“Unity is what brings people together and if you are not united things will not go well. Individual artists ended up doing their own things individually, not confirming with another guy. We ended up disconnecting” he said.

Singer-songwriter, musician, composer, arranger, and the multi-instrumentalist, Khaya Mthethwa, says he just knew he would not have to look any further the moment he met former Miss South Africa Ntandoyenkosi Kunene.

Khaya Mthethwa and his wife Ntandoyenkosi only dated for three months before tying the knot.

Speaking on Afternoon Express, Khaya revealed that tying the knot so early was not something he had planned but something his heart told him to do.

“To be honest, I didn’t plan on getting married last year. It was not something that was part of ‘the plan’ for my life but it was just something the I felt in my heart. When I met Ntando, I just knew. I was like, ‘this is it for me and I ain’t trying to waste the rest of my life without her” he said.

Speaking about his wife, the Pastor’s kid said, “She’s an incredible human being. She’s a strong character and comes from a phenomenal family. Everything about her culminates into this beautiful person that I want to spend the rest of my life with.”
