Actress Maumela Mahuwa, renowned for her role as one of chief Azwindini’s wives Susan Mukwevho on SABC2 drama Muvhango, helps save marriages.

The 38-year-old actress, who has been on Muvhango for about 16-years, hosts marriage seminars. The actress also helps women discover their identity and reach their full potential.
Maumela Mahuwa said her character taught her that marriage was about the woman: “Susan knows where she is going and nothing will stop her. She’s sure of her husband Azwindini’s love. Perhaps that’s why she believes she’s loved,” – said Maumela.
Susan, who is chief Azwindini’s first wife, advises the chief and puts the house in order on the show. The actress said she was attracted to wise men.
“I won’t worry much about other things, provided he’s wise,” said Maumela.
She’s also a Venda traditional gospel singer. She mainly sings worship songs with an African beat. Her music is traditional.
