“My husband knows he married a cheese girl” says Mshoza

After tying the knot in a traditional wedding this past weekend, Mshoza is finally ready to settle in her new life as a married woman.

Newly weds Mshoza and Thuthukani Mvula are and more especially Mshoza enjoying newly-wedded bliss and everything that comes with being a new makoti (bride) after she traditionally tied the knot to her beau Thuthukani Mvula this past weekend.

“Everything went well. I am happy, I mean I married a man I love and respect, who loves and respects me back,” Mshoza told TshisaLIVE.

The kwaito artist who says her husband is the “conservative” type he knew who she was and loves her unconditionally.She said unlike her previous wedding this time she and her husband followed the traditional processes more seriously.

“It feels different but in a good way this time. My man is very traditional and I have been doing my makoti duties. Things like wearing a doek and a towel around my waist, or waking up earlier to boil water for the uncles and stuff.”



Mshoza who says she’s more modern and lived a fairly modern lifestyle, says she is willing to take in the traditional expectations of a new bride.

“My husband is really traditional but he knows he married a “cheese girl” so he tells his family to be patient with me. But, I am also willing to grow and learn from him and his family. It’s unlike my other marriage but I’ll happily do some of these traditional things until my white wedding. I don’t want to rush my white wedding at all, so I am doing what I need to do.” she said.

According to Zalebs, Mshoza will continue to make music while going to her 9 to 5 job but this time, will be returning home to do her wifely duties when she gets home.

This time, Mshoza wants to keep her private life a little more private, so much so that she even deleted all her picture on Instagram and started over. On her previous account, she would never really show us her man’s face bust she used to show us snippets of him.Things are so private now that there’s not even a single picture of her big day.

Although Mshoza is in no hurry to walk down the aisle in a white wedding, she did however say that the planning is underway and that this time she wants to take her time in planning her special day.
