The company says that Nadia and her attitude embody what it means to be bold, colourful and courageous; an ethos which Reebok believes is closely aligned to theirs.

Bragga, as she is affectionately known, joins fellow rapper AKA as the face of Reebok South Africa. Nakai makes a perfect addition to the Reebok family as over the years she has been on a fitness mission, just as Reebok has a goal to be the leading fitness brand in the world. More so, as someone who has recently launched her own apparel line she understands the importance of working out in style and how that can motivate and build confidence.

Commenting on the partnership, PJ Morilly, Brand Director Reebok South Africa said, “Nadia’s edginess and individuality clearly defines the attributes of what Reebok personifies– a brand that is not afraid to exceed the boundaries of innovation and challenge the norms. Through physical activity or fitness we have the power to change people’s lives and we are delighted about this association with the hip hop queen in order to tell this positive narrative.”

Nakai explains that although fitness has not always been a strong love of hers, she has found a new love for it, with boxing giving her both confidence and endurance.

“I can’t imagine a better partner to join me on this journey than Reebok,” explained Nakai. “I feel extremely excited and blessed to have partnered with a brand that truly acknowledges the individuality that we as artists want to exude, and the fashion forward trends are exactly the style cues that I enjoy and believe represent my personality and outlook on life.”

The new lady of Reebok joins the brand following her recent release of her debut album entitled Nadia Naked in late June.
