Following a successful season 4 which just wrapped, Uzalo will be saying goodbye to Nay Maps, Nokuthula Mabika and Glen Gabela in season 5 starting in February 2019.

Uzalo, which recently set a new record of SA’s most-watched show with 10.2 million viewership, announced that Mxolisi, Thobile and Pastor Mdletshe will be leaving the show.
Nay Maps played Mxolisi Mdletshe, a young man who grew up in his father’s shady dealings, violence, dodgy dealings and police run-ins.
Nokuthula played Thobile. Thobile works at a saloon where she does hair and nails. She’s bubbly and fun.
Glen Gabela joined the show as the new Pastor Mdletshe.

Is there a reason why they are leaving Uzalo cause chopping and changing characters affect the soapie as it takes time to get used to new pupil and uThobile and uMxolisi are the original faces of your soapie. They departure will leave a huge gap.
