It has been confirmed that the most popular Wrestling brand WWE Studios will be teaming up with Netflix. According to Whats-on-Netflix website, the two will be collaborating on WWE Movie calledThe Main Event.

Here is everything we know about Netflix WWE Movie ‘The Main Event’. According to the publication, The Main Event is an American sports-entertainment film and is a collaboration between Netflix and WWE Studios.
The movie will be directed by Jay Karas of Parks & Recreation, while WWE Studios’ producers will be behind the movie. WWE Studios producers include Richard Lowell, Susan Levison and Maggie Malina.
WWE The Main Event is the first WWE Studios movie to be exclusive to the leading streaming services.
The plot of The Main Event
“After discovering a magical mask, an 11-year-old aspiring wrestler enters a competition to become the next WWE Superstar.” – the synopsis has been given for the film.

The below WWE Superstars have been confirmed to appear in The Main Event; The Miz, Kofi Kingston, Seamus and Corey Graves, while cast members of the movie include; Lisa Durupt, Adam Pally, Tichina Arnold, Lucie Guest, Seth Carr, Dallas Young, Glen Gordon, Bodhi Sabongui and Aryan Simhadri. Other superstars have been rumored to appear such as Bray Wyatt and John Cena.
A trailer for The Main Event trailer has not been released yet and is likely to drop at a WWE pay per view. The publication further reported that film is still in pre-production and won’t be coming to Netflix until 2020.
