Power Play Oh Ship 2019 captained by Fresh and Euphonik delivered on its promise to offer an endless party with non-stop entertainment! The MSC Orchestra sailed the Indian Ocean with over 3000 party-goers all ready for a weekend to remember!
Oh Ship 2019 joined forces with the coolest energy drink, Power Play, to bring refreshing flavour to the best premium party experience in the Southern Hemisphere! A few top media giants co-hosted the party that rocked the seas. On board was award-winning radio station 94.7, Africa’s top entertainment hub DStv and young, hip and urban music channel Trace TV and TRACE Mobile
Star Studded Line-Up
In true Oh Ship fashion, only the best DJs laced the lineup to keep the decks blazing and the party pumping, such as Mo Flava, Dino Bravo, Ryan the DJ, Thando Thabethe, Naked DJ, Lulo Café, Ayanda MVP, Kyeezi, Deejay Hudson, DJ Sumbody, Da Capo, DJ Franky, 2KZA, Prince Kaybee and Bekzin Terris alongside our favourite DJ duo, Sphe and Naves, who all brought the heat and kept the dance floor on fire all day and night.
The cherry on top of the already crazy lineup was the amazing live performance from soulful vocalist Msaki!

It wouldn’t be a classic Oh Ship experience without hosting the infamous themed parties that take the party to a whole new level. The extravagant first edition of the Power Play Masquerade Party was definitely one for the books. Both the ladies and gents brought their best dressed get ups topped by swanky masks and danced the night away in marvel and mystery.
The highly anticipated Sexy Pyjama Party had guests dressed in their naughty but nice outfits – bringing all sorts of spice to the festivities.
The All White Party on Sunday provided the perfect opportunity to unwind and enjoy plenty of sun, colourful cocktails, premium entertainment and a pool deck overlooking amazing ocean views.
Just For Laughs
In 2019 we switched up the flow with an impressive comedic lineup. The hysterical and irreverent Skhumba had the audience in stiches, while rising comedic stars Elton Mduduzi and Suhayl Essa tickled every funny bone on board.
Joining the giggles was seasoned MC and co-host of acclaimed SABC 3 show Trending SA, Nina Hastie.
