Africa month culminated in style with a hint of the distinct as Pacinamix, a transformational creative company was at the vanguard of delivering a unique and bespoke digital lifestyle experience celebrating all that is African dubbed – Afrika Konekt.

On the 30th of May 2020, audiences from all around the world were part of a live digital experience on Pacinamix’s YouTube and Facebook platforms where they got to experience an all African affair that delved into music, food, culture and fashion.
The over 2-hour long African digital lifestyle experience headlined by an assemble line-up of African stars such as Nomzamo Mbatha, songstress Lira, African culturist Mbuso Khoza and DJ extraordinaire DJ Zinhle among others, Afrika Konekt is the brainchild of Pacinamix through the creative company’s innovative new offering; digital activations.

“Through our newly created digital activations wing, we are able to respond to a global crisis by delivering an exclusive event that allowed both the African and global communities to celebrate this all so important month and showcase African creativity,” adds the entrepreneurial visionary.
Manzini’s sentiment were shared by Thuli Sibeko who heads up Pacinamix’s fully-fledged on the ground Activations division and now the newly formed Digital Activations offering.

The Afrika Konekt live lifestyle featured the likes of PalesaMokubung, Thando Hopa, SaadiqueRyklief, and Katlego Mlambo all of whom journeyed with audiences into their respective crafts and specialties.
Sharing her experience of Afrika Konekt, model and activist Thando Hopa said the event was a cultural footprint for Africans to converse, express and celebrate the multiplicity that manifest within the African continent.
“Afrika Konekt is a platform that houses a diversification of African artistic experience expression and experience that is necessary to complement the reclamation of the African narrative,” noted Hopa.
Having shared his own variety of a surf and turf meal with an African twist, culinary genius Katlego Mlambo paid homage to African unity.
“Afrika Konekt made me realize how amazing it is being African. United as one, can only equal to being phenomenal,” said the celebrity chef.
