What is PeopleSoft UCT?
PeopleSoft UCT is the University of Cape Town’s online self-service student administration system. CUT registered students can access the CUT PeopleSoft system to update their contact details, check timetable, course registration details and many more.
What is Oracle PeopleSoft?
The Oracle PeopleSoft application is designed to address the most complex University’s requirements. UCT’s Oracle PeopleSoft is managed by the Student Systems Support (SSS) at UCT. Students’ end of the year results are also only made available on this system. Students can also get their MOU and access their transcript via Oracle PeopleSoft UCT platform.
PeopleSoft UCT Login
To access the PeopleSoft UCT login page, you need a user-ID and password. After you have logged into UCT Oracle PeopleSoft, you will be able to do the following:
- Check application status
- Check current enrolments
- Access student results
- Request proof of registration document
- Check and maintain address details
- Check and maintain bank account details
- Check fee account
- Select a tutorial group (limited to certain courses)
- Get unofficial academic transcript
How to login to PeopleSoft UCT
To access PeopleSoft UCT, follow the below steps:
- Step 1: Go to studentsonline.uct.ac.za
- Step 2: Enter your user ID (UCT student number) and password
- Step 3: Then click “Sign In”

How to Reset PeopleSoft UCT Login Password
To reset your password, use the Password Student administration self-service (PeopleSoft). You will be able to manage your UCT network password.
If you forget your password, you can reset it with OTP (One-Time-PIN) token sent to your cellphone or email address.
Here’s how to reset password:
- Step 1: Go to studentsonline.uct.ac.za
- Step 2: Click on “Forgot Password”
- Step 3: Enter your UCT Username then click “Continue”
- Step 4: Enter your cellphone number or email address and click “Continue”
- Step 5: You will receive OTP, enter it and click “Continue”
- Step 6: Enter your new password in both fields, then click “Change Password”
