Both new customers and existing users of many Predator and Nitro models can now look forward to a power boost. Acer increases the MGP in almost all devices and notebooks from the Predator and Nitro series that are based on Nvidia® RTX 30 GPUs. The BIOS and vBIOS update enables an MGP of up to 30 watts higher for compatible Predator devices and up to 15 watts higher MGP for compatible Nitro products.

Acer is continuously innovating and enhancing the design process to ensure it can always offer customers products with the best possible performance and a long life cycle. “Our claim to gaming hardware is to offer a balance between the best possible CPU & GPU performance along with volume and durability. This continuous approach to innovation means we can pass on enhanced graphics performance benefits to both new customers with the latest models and existing customers with the BIOS update,” says Glenn Du Toit, General Manager and Consumer Lead at Acer Africa.

Buyers of the latest models will automatically benefit from the higher graphics performance. For existing models, the updates are available for download on the Acer service website [insert link to local website] and can simply be installed to activate the increased MGP.
