Queen Latifah To Star In And Executive Produce “End Of The Road” For Netflix

Netflix has announced that Academy Award nominee Queen Latifah, will star in and executive produce film “End Of The Road” for Netflix, Emmy nominee Millicent Shelton will direct the film.

“End Of The Road” on Netflix follows the story of a recently widowed Brenda who after losing her job, drives her family cross-country to start a new life. In the New Mexico desert, cut off from help, they must learn to fight back when they become the targets of a mysterious killer.

David Loughery (The Intruder, Obsessed) will write the script based on an original screenplay by Christopher Moore.

Other than Queen Latifah, Flavor Unit Entertainment’s Shakim Compere will also executive produce the Netflix film. Tracey Edmonds for Edmonds Entertainment (Soul Food, Jumping the Broom); Mark Burg for Twisted Pictures (Saw, John Q, Spiral) and Brad Kaplan (The Intruder) are the producers of the film.

Millicent Shelton, an Emmy nominee, who is set to direct “End Of The Road”, began her career as a New York City Music Video Director before transitioning into an award winning Director in television with an array of comedies and dramas including Insecure, Hunters, The Walking Dead, Titans, Black-ish and the pilot of the upcoming Starz comedy series, Run The World.
