The ceremony was held on Wednesday in Alberton, on the East Rand. These awards are held annually to celebrate top achievers of the Ekurhuleni Metropolitan Municipality.
Speaking to Daily Sun, Kwesta said: “Helping out where I can is something that I have been doing. I believe that a lot of children are denied an opportunity to excel because they lack resources, so this is to help them better their future.”
The rapper said he believes that if he is in the position to help them he should do it anywhere and anytime. He further told the publication that he doesn’t want to give a timeline to helping out but whenever he can and when the cause is worth it, then he will do it.
“I help young people in Ekurhuleni a lot because it is home, therefore, it is simple to identify problems that young people are facing around here,” – Kwesta told Daily Sun.
