“I worked on the project last year and it’s an honour to have been invited to join the team again to bring the country a phenomenal Africa Day production. This year we are elevating things and it’s definitely not a festival to be missed,” shares Relebogile Mabotja.
Relebogile Mabotja further adds: “As a proud African, Africa Day is always a special reminder that we are part of a larger community on the continent and have so many similarities that unify us, music being one of them. I look forward to spending my Africa Day surrounded by the unifying force of music from some of Africa’s biggest musical acts.”
ASA and Mr Eazi are set to headline the festival under a 25-year celebratory theme, which will see the Bassline Fest not only celebrate Africa Day, but also a milestone 25 years of democracy in South Africa, as well as the celebration of BASSLINE’s silver jubilee.
