Rhythm City actress Lerato Zah Moloi tests positive for COVID-19

Former Muvhango and Rhythm City actress Lerato Zah Moloi has revealed that she tested positive for COVID-19.

Taking to social media to disclose the news, Lerato Zah Moloi, posted a video on Monday 06 July 2020 and said she contracted the virus a few days ago.

“Stay home please… Covid-19 is a ruthless invisible monster. Be safe. I will post more about my experience and journey with this horrible virus…(sic)” – she captioned the video shared on her official Facebook page.

In the video, Lerato Moloi said she is experienced all the symptoms of coronavirus from agonizing pains, diarrhea, nausea and headaches before testing positive for the virus.

“I have gone through everything from chest pains, breathlessness and excruciating pains, dizzy spells, diarrhea, loss of appetite and smell.. I have gone though it all,” – Lerato said.

Moloi said she was experiencing the same symptoms despite having completed the 14 days period. She said she managed to get back her appetite and sense of smell though some of the symptoms.

Fans and celebrities have been sending messages of support to the actress.

Commenting on her Instagram post, former Uzalo actor Khaya Dladla said:  “Thank you for sharing and some of us need to hear this. Sending you love and recovery wishes in godspeed.”

“We thank God for seeing you through this thus far! Sending you enormous love and strength!” – Buhle Samuels said

Lorna Maseko also commented saying: “Thank you for sharing – steady recovery. And we thank God for seeing you through.”

Lerato also urged her followers to stay at home if they were not essential workers to protect their lives and those of their loved ones.
