A first ever simulcast for the SABC, Robert Marawa is set to change the face of sports radio as we know it. His new radio show will be bigger and better and will broadcast nationwide over a two-hour period (6-7pm on Metro FM & 6-8pm on Radio 2000) with an August launch date to be released soon.

Marawa has proven time and time again why he is the irrefutable sports presenter of his generation with his work being globally recognised and respected within the sporting fraternity. With a career spanning over two decades as a sports presenter, Robert Marawa will bring his exuberant personality, extensive expertise and knowledge back on the airwaves.

Having worked with the biggest names across all sporting codes including the likes of Usain Bolt, Ryan Giggs and John Barnes to name a few, with Robert Marawa’s new radio show, he will continue to tap into the local and global movers and shakers of sports, canvass the opinions of the journalists who break the stories, give listeners a voice around their sports opinions and have a no barriers take on all things sports.

This new appointment of Robert Marawa on both Metro FM and Radio 2000 speaks volumes of the magnitude of his brand, and we can only expect greater things from the award-winning sportscaster when he makes history with his on-air radio return this August.
