Sassa Confirms SRD Grant Payment Dates For February 2022

The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) has confirmed the SASSA’s R350 Social Relief Of Distress (SRD) grant payment dates for February 2022. The R350 grant payments have kicked off for the month of February. There are number of ways to collect the SRD grant and collecting the R350 SRD grant from Post Office is one of them.

The last three digits of the beneficiaries’ identity numbers indicate the day on which they can visit their nearest Post Office to collect their R350 SRD grant.

As confirmed by Sassa, the SRD grant payment schedule for the remaining days of February is as follows:

  • 9 February: 084 & 089
  • 10 February: 080 & 085
  • 11 February: 081 & 086
  • 14 February: 082 & 087
  • 15 February: 083 & 088
  • 16 February: 084 & 089
  • 17 February: 080 & 085
  • 18 February: 081 & 086
  • 21 February: 082 & 087
  • 22 February: 083 & 088
  • 23 February: 084 & 089
  • 24 February: 080 & 085
  • 25 February: 081& 086
  • 28 February: 082 & 087

Sassa has urged beneficiaries to wait for an SMS that says their SRD grant is ready for collection. If there is no SMS, it means that the grant is not available for collection yet at Post Office.

How to Check SRD Status Online

To check SRD Status online, you need a mobile device, a computer or laptop. Make sure you are connected to the internet. Have your ID number and cellphone number with you. These must be the details you used when applying for the SRD grant. Once you have all the necessary information to perform the SRD status check, you can now visit the srd.sassa.gov.za/sc19/status check site. Here’s how to check SRD status online.

  • Step 1: Go to the SASSA SRD Check link srd.sassa.gov.za/sc19/status
  • Step 2: Enter ID number and your cellphone number
  • Step 3: Then click “Submit” to check your status
  • Step 4: You will be able to see your SRD status online
