Sassa payment dates for November 2022 have been released and the South African Social Security Agency (Sassa) will begin distributing the permanent grants on Wednesday 2 November 2022 starting with Older persons grant.
Sassa pays permanent grants on the second day of every new month. If the second day falls on a weekend or public holiday, the grant will be distributed on the following working day.
Sassa Payment Dates
Here are the Sassa Payment Dates for November 2022:
- Older Person’s Grant: Wednesday 2 November 2022 – This includes any grants linked to this account
- Disability Grant: Thursday 3 November 2022 – This includes any grants linked to this account
- All Other Grants: Friday 4 November 2022
Regarding the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) grant, please note that these grants have no fixed dates. Beneficiaries can check their status on the Sassa SRD website at https://srd.sassa.gov.za/sc19/status. SASSA R350 beneficiaries can receive their grants as soon as they receive confirmation of payment from SASSA.
Beneficiaries are urged to wait for an SMS to say that they can collect their R350 grant and should not head out to collect it if they haven’t received an SMS.
SASSA previously confirmed, “there is no need to rush to withdraw cash on the first day. Once the money is in the account, it will remain there until it is needed.”
