The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) has announced that the Sassa SRD website will be unavailable on certain days. Sassa SRD applications for the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) grant are done via the SRD website https://srd.sassa.gov.za. However, the website will be temporary offline due to maintenance.
“Please be informed that ICT will be running a series of Systems and infrastructure maintenance, this will be a process done over four weekends.” – Sassa said on social media
Here’s when you can expect the website to be unavailable.
- 20 to 22 May (17:00 Friday to 23:00 Sunday)
- 27 to 29 May (17:00 Friday to 23:00 Sunday)
- 10 to 12 June (17:00 Friday to 23:00 Sunday)
- 24 to 26 June (17:00 Friday to 23:00 Sunday)
“Beneficiaries should please note that during these times, the SRD Website will not be available. We apologize for the inconvenience this might cause” – Sassa wrote
